Here are a few select quotes from playing with my Battlegrounds with friends. A lot of it is around there being no good built in party chat (still goes for a lot of games it seems), and the nature of running a demanding game vs something like Overwatch.

Not major things, but it's like lots of little papercut's taking you away from the experience of just enjoying the game with friends. But now we're outside of Battlenet and into the world of steam, things start to feel a bit more janky. First time in many years I've thought 'wow, pc game I can't get on console that i want to play'. And I haven't preferred a FPS on PC for maybe a decade now, I'm usually perfectly fine with the controller world for things like Battlefield or Destiny.īattlegrounds - great game, cool genre, unique. I actually prefer Overwatch on PC i have to say. Overwatch has been a very console-like experience with Blizzard's usual ultra polish and QA, with built-in battlenet party chat. Getting a game of something like Battlefield One going on PS4 in a party of friends is the easiest thing in the world, No issues whatsoever. It's interesting coming back to PC and seeing how things have changed (or not).
#SAINTS ROW 3 PC CONTROLLER INVERTED INSTALL#
(my PC has mostly just a glorified NAS these last few years.)Ĭonvinced a few friends to install steam and get Battlegrounds too, some of who, like me, haven't played a PC game in a while or ever ever before, and are just using laptops, but they liked the concept of the game when described. Recently dusted off my old PC for Overwatch and more recently Playerunknown Battlegrounds.
